I started Adventure Snouts at the beginning of 2026 after spending many years gaining experience in all aspects of dog care and animal care. I spent four years at Brinsbury College completing my Level 3 all the way through to my Higher National Diploma in Animal Management, where I also worked as bank staff for the animal centre looking after the animals when students weren’t in. I then went on to work in pet shops furthering my training around canine nutrition, equipment fitting and dog training equipment, before landing a job at Fitzpatrick Referrals as an auxiliary nurse. I learnt so much more about canine health and welfare as the practise specialised in oncology and soft tissue issues. I was lucky enough to be taught by some amazing vet nurses and surgeons about key indicators of health, treating basic first aid, how to make sure equipment is properly sterilised and how important this side of things is in order to keep people’s dogs safe. I then spent 3 years working for another dog walker within the area before deciding to go solo and start my own business which is where you’ve ended up today. Dog’s truly are an incredible species, their love and loyalty to people and general joy for life puts a smile on my face everyday, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to say this is my career and to have such lovely clients who put so much trust in me to keep their extended family members safe.
